Double Pitch Roller Chain often referred to as a "C" series chain, double pitch roller chain is made up of the same components (rollers, pins bushes etc.) as standard transmission roller chain, however they have longer side plates (double pitch). The double pitch conveyor chain is often used on slower moving conveyors that put less stress or wear onto the chain. Industries that we currently supply a wide range of the double pitch conveyor chain to include, but are not limited to; fruit pack houses, timber mills and airport equipment manufactures. All double pitch roller chain incorporate solid rollers enhancing rotation on the bushing while reducing impact loads on the sprocket tooth during operation. All chains components are heat treated to achieve maximum strength and greater wear resistance and all chains pre-loaded during the manufacturing process to minimize initial elongation. Hot dipped lubrication ensures 100% lubrication of all chain components to extend wear life and reduce maintenance costs.
